The Viviana Halil Jewelry journey started with one of those dream-big moments, the ones where you are tucked in with your favorite scented candle on and, out of nowhere, come these wild inspirations that feel too great to resist. But, of course, it's never as simple as saying, "Hey, let's create a jewelry brand!" It started out as a passion project, something I daydreamed about while juggling all the other things life throws at you.

You know when you're shopping and that "perfect" Tennis necklace catches your eye, but the price tag makes you feel like you need to give up your whole paycheck? Or when you buy cute jewelry online, but by the time you've worn it a few times, stones are now missing or your skin turns green after an all day out with your girls or better yet, you realize you walked around with a green neck all day? Yeah, me. I realized that my money was going towards jewelry that was never meant to last. I found myself, very ironically, hunting for pieces that looked luxurious that wouldn't break the bank–and spoiler alert, those were hard to come by.

So, I thought, "Why not create the jewelry I've been searching for? " Something that looks like it's supposed to be in the window of the finest boutiques but doesn't come with a jaw-dropping price tag. I wanted to create pieces that would bring joy-like when you put on your favorite designer bag or slip into those killer heels you've been saving for a night out.

Jewelry that makes you feel like the feminine goddess that you are, confident like the world is your playground without having to sacrifice your shoe fund (priorities, right?). And let me tell you, I dove deep into this. I spent months (more like countless late nights) researching materials, learning about craftsmanship, and sketching out a plan and ideas until my hands were sore. I wanted everything to be perfect, from the quality of the stones to the way the metal felt against your skin. But nothing could be "just okay." It had to feel luxurious, it had to last, and more than anything, it had to make you feel like the best version of yourself every time you wore it.

It was a process—a lot of trial and error, a lot of second-guessing— tons of I fucked up moments but I kept going because I believed in the vision. Every piece I chose for the collection or designed felt like it had a story to tell, a little sparkle to add to someone’s life. I didn’t want to settle for anything less than perfection. And honestly, it was the most fun I’ve ever had (even with all the ups and downs). I have grown immensely from this process and would not change it for the world. This was personal for me. It was a mission greater than anything I ever knew possible yet somehow it became my true passion, and VH is something I hold dear to my heart.

I began to feel that it was time to stop dreaming and start doing; by late 2022, this girl with a dream started to make a plan a relentless pursuit just trying to find ways to bring this dream to life while working 12-16 hour days at her real job, nonetheless a company was formed, sample pieces were being created, the brand was evolving, and I was more than excited to bring everything to life. That's when Viviana Halil Jewelry was officially born! But let me tell you, the journey from idea to launch was filled with challenges, sleepless nights and there were many times when I wasn't even sure it would all pan out - the kind of times where you feel that maybe your dream is too big, that you're crazy for even trying. But every high, every low, was worth it. To see my vision unfold before my eyes was like watching a dream come to life. And the most incredible part? The day I saw you wearing my designs. That's the real magic - the moment it finally clicked in my mind that this wasn't a dream anymore. I officially had started living what I only imagined yet now somehow in between all the chaos had suddenly become my reality.

It was real, and it was beautiful.
